About the Work Sucks Show — DC Comedy You Can Actually Afford. Ages: 21+ (it’s a bar, folks)
“Work Sucks” is a live comedy show where local stand-ups riff on your real-life work stories. Audience members share their worst job stories—and stand-up comics turn them into on-the-spot material.
We’ve heard it all: explosive firings, deranged customers, horrifying managers, emotional breakdowns in walk-in freezers. If it happened on the clock, it belongs on stage.
Audience reactions range from: “I needed this” to “I’ll never eat from a break room freezer again.”**
